Our Core Values:
a place to be real, a place to belong, a place to believe
A place to Be Real
Authenticity: Be who you are not who you think we want you to be
(Romans 12:3)
Humility: Every person is important whatever their role
(Romans 12:5)
Openness: We need to be open about our sin, struggles
and temptations. (1 John 1:9, James 5:16)
Secrecy empowers sins grip, isolates the struggler, and
condemns the tempted.
Sincere Relationships: We will deal openly with each other speaking the truth in love always to build up the other person. (Ephesians 4:25-29)
God loves us just the way we are
but he loves us to much to let us stay that way!
A place to Belong
Giftings: Each person has a place in the body where they belong (Romans 12:5, I Corinthians 12)
Responsibility: The gifts that God has given me are given for the good of his kingdom and church. When I do not use my gifts, I am robbing others of what belongs to them. (Romans 12:5)
Hospitality: We take care of each other! (Romans 12:13)
A place to Believe
Transformation: Putting our full trust in Christ will bring Life
Change (Romans 12:2)
Christian Worldview: What we believe effects who we are and how
we live (Matthew 5:13-16)
Authority of Scripture: The Bible is our authority in
which we find the basis for what we
believe. Scripture is the final Authority in
every area of our personal lives and
church. (1 Timothy 3:16)
Empowerment - We believe that God did not expect us to do this
alone but that he has given us the power of His
Spirit to fulfill His purposes for our lives.
(Acts 1:8, Galatians 3:3)
